What is PepFactor® Microneedling?

PepFactor® is a bioidentical, authentic complex protein, meaning that it is accepted by the body and initiates the production of fibroblast in the cells which results in large amounts of collagen and elastin created in the skin naturally. It’s administered in the form of a serum applied directly to the skin or scalp, depending on the patient’s goals.

PepFactor® has almost no reported side effects to date and doesn’t require injections. Instead, PepFactor® is a topical serum created by doctors and scientists that’s applied directly to the skin and scalp. PepFactor® uses a minimally invasive procedure called microneedling in conjunction with the application of the PepFactor® serum.

For skin:

PepFactor can help people attain clearer and/or younger looking skin, reduce wrinkles, diminish scarring and eliminate acne. PepFactor for skin is typically used to treat the following:

Full face rejuvenation
Acne treatments
Skin brightening
Fine lines
Sagging skin
Stretch marks
Crepey skin
Under eyes
Front, side and back of the neck
Skin tightening
Dark eye circles
Back of hands
Wrinkly knees
Collagen regeneration

For scalp:

PepFactor® can help treat up to stage 5 hair loss. What does that mean? There are 7 stages of male pattern baldness. (although patterns are similar for women) The first stage starts with a slightly receding hairline and stage 5 is where there is a horseshoe-shaped hairline and hair loss becomes hard to treat.

Like PepFactor® for skin, PepFactor® for scalp rejuvenation stimulates significant new growth of collagen. Having a sufficient amount of collagen in the scalp strengthens the hair follicles and improves hair growth. PepFactor is a natural way to rejuvenate the scalp and it can be used in conjunction with other treatments to encourage hair growth.

What can I expect after?

According to healthline.com: Like all cosmetic procedures, micro-needling isn’t without risk. The most common side effect is minor skin irritation immediately following the procedure. You may also see redness for a few days.
